Measure, measure, measure: how long is this, actually?
Pull the tape out carefully, read the numbers, and press the button: the tape retracts automatically. The colorful markings and clear numbers make measuring easy to follow for small hands. A small wooden measuring tape with a big job: children discover how long, short, big, and small work through play, all while practicing their motor skills.

What children practice with it:
- Learning to measure and number sense: reading numbers, comparing lengths, and estimating dimensions
- Bilateral movement: one hand holds it steady, the other pulls the tape out
- Force regulation and fine motor skills while gently pulling out and holding the tape
- Hand-eye coordination and concentration for precise measuring
- Perseverance when measuring larger objects

The measuring tape is suitable for use at home, in the classroom, and during therapy or support sessions. Repeatedly pulling it out and rolling it back in helps automate fine motor movements without it feeling like practice.

Play suggestions:
- Measure toys, furniture, or each other’s height together and write down the results
- Let children estimate first and then measure to check
- Play shopkeeper or carpenter and make a measurement list
