German Advent Calendar Book – 24 Secret pages full of Montessori adventure
Tearing open a cute sealed page every day to discover the adventure hidden behind it – counting down to Christmas could hardly be more exciting! This German-language advent calendar book consists of 24 mysterious pages that you tear open day by day. Behind every page, a new interactive idea awaits: 24 lovingly designed activities that guide children through the month of December and invite them to get active and creative themselves. Everything is inspired by the Montessori pedagogy, with activities that align with the natural development and independence of the child.
For children from about 4–5 years old, this creates a small daily ritual full of anticipation. Because the tasks vary, a wide range of skills are engaged: fine motor skills when cutting, folding, or building; language development during storytelling tasks; and thinking and observation through discovery and puzzle activities. Concentration and independent action are also given plenty of room, as children carry out the tasks largely on their own.
