Quiet rainy weather, a heavy shower, or a full-blown storm — which sound best matches your mood today?
The Sounds of Rain Sensory Tubes are a set of 3 tubes, each mimicking a different rain sound: a gentle drizzle, a steady downpour, and a heavy storm. Turn or tilt a tube and listen as the sound and the moving beads inside perfectly replicate the rhythm of rain. Simple, yet surprisingly fascinating — for children and adults alike.
These sensory tubes are especially helpful for children who benefit from calming, repetitive stimuli: observing the moving contents and listening to the sound supports sensory processing and helps regulate energy. Because a child can choose which sound feels most comfortable at that moment, they also practice self-awareness and making small choices. Concentration and focus also get a boost, as the tubes invite you to become completely absorbed in watching and listening.
Use: Ideal for a quiet corner in the classroom, a calm moment at home, or as a tool during therapy sessions focused on concentration and self-regulation. Also fun as an introduction to the topic of weather, with accompanying vocabulary about rain and storms.
