Large Ball – challenging outdoor fun for young and old
This giant ball from BS Toys invites you to roll, throw, push, and catch. Due to its significant size, the ball is a real eye-catcher.
This large ball is suitable for children from toddler age up to the upper primary school years, and is perfect for use at home, at school, or during PE class. Precisely because of its size, the ball encourages teamwork: children must coordinate with each other to throw, catch, or roll the ball together.
This ball primarily engages gross motor skills: running, bending, reaching, and moving the whole body to keep the ball under control. Due to its size, the ball cannot be held with one hand: picking it up, throwing, and catching it naturally become a two-handed, bilateral action. This type of two-handed movement requires cooperation between the left and right sides of the body, which stimulates brain development. Hand-eye coordination and reaction speed also come into play when catching and throwing. Because children play together, body awareness is also stimulated: they learn to estimate how much force and space are needed to properly handle such a large ball.

Play suggestions:
- Roll the ball to each other in a circle
- Try to carry the ball together with two children without dropping it
- Use the ball as an obstacle in a homemade outdoor course

A simple ball, but with a big effect: moving together, laughing together, and working on strength, coordination, and two-handed cooperation in a playful way all the while.
